Article note: VMS is _extremely_ interesting, but the licensing situation has always made it not-worth-dealing-with. This is not improving it _at all_.
Especially a problem for historical systems, VMS for VAX/Alpha is (admittedly easy to obtain at this point) the interesting part for a section of the community.
