Article note: I still have the articulating bedframe that was my bed+recliner in my studio in my office at home, because "conformantly reclined with a laptop" really is a pretty good way to do some kinds of work.
Quite a bit of what I do lately requires my double monitor + work area with overhead camera setup, which gives me limited ability to change my position (and that setup isn't readily adapted to standing), but I still mix it up when I can.
I'm convinced the problem with almost all "ergonomic" solutions is basically that it's bad to spend so much time in any one position, so varying your shit is the real key. That's also part of my attraction to split keyboards and such - I can rearrange myself and keep working.
