I've been watching this at a distance since it went down, at least the guilty parties are being punished (By the ACM, IEEE doesn't give a fuck about anything but money, and I let my membership lapse this year because I've become so cumulatively sick of their shit), which is more than I expected.
It really is a perfect "The incentive structure of academia laid bare" situation.
