Article note: It's a good point.
There's conditioned helplessness. There's 'continuous delivery' making vendors less careful and teaching users to expect inconsistency. There's profit motives to fuck it ship it. There's layers upon layers of poorly understood complexity shifting underneath making things difficult and opaque for users and developers alike. ...And there are no methods that have proven out to even reliably improve software quality.
