Article note: We've known the entire entertainment media industry (movies, music, TV) is, for all it's disproportionate cultural and legal clout, smaller than most of the large tech companies cash reserves.
The consolidation of producers and production channels is ugly, and would do well to have some regulatory attention (compulsory licensing schemes?), but cutting the legacy entertainment biz down to size is overdue.
