I hadn&#8217;t seen anything quite like them before, and they are just so cool &#8211; <i>flexible<\/i> driven gear for high torque, high fraction engagement, and inherently loaded for zero-backlash.  Even though there is a little marketing in it, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harmonicdrive.net\/reference\/operatingprinciples\/\">this<\/a> description is really better than wikipedia&#8217;s.
