It's unclear who or how many current partners will be able to sell VMware-related offerings after April 2024, leaving the potential for tens of thousands of businesses to be disrupted.<\/p>\n<p>Broadcom, which closed its <a href=\"https:\/\/arstechnica.com\/information-technology\/2021\/11\/dell-spins-off-64-billion-vmware-as-it-battles-debt-hangover\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VMware acquisition<\/a> in November, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2023\/12\/28\/broadcom_vmware_partner_transition\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Register<\/a> in late December that &ldquo;effective February 5, 2024, Broadcom will be transitioning VMware&rsquo;s partner programs to the invitation-only Broadcom Advantage Partner Program.&rdquo; This signaled the end of VMware's partnerships with solution providers, resellers, and distributors.
